Create a “Stone Looking Effect” with this direct printing plastisol ink base. This plastisol ink has very good opacity. A thick stencil is recommended. Also available in a wide range of popular colors.
Stencil: 250 to 400 micron direct capillary stencils. Thinner stencils may require repeated print/flash/print cycles to obtain desired effect.
OR: Direct emulsion may be used with multiple coat & dry applications to achieve desired thickness.
Mesh: 750 Series inks will print thru 60 to 110/inch (32T to 44T/cm). 60/inch (24T/cm) is highly recommended.
Reducer: 502 Viscosity Reducer can be used in limited quantities of 1-3% by weight. The addition of excessive amounts of 502 Viscosity Reducer will increase the curing times. Reducers will increase ink flow and help reduce build up. **Please note that inks should be thoroughly stirred prior to printing, inks are thixotropic and will naturally reduce with stirring.
Squeegee: Use a medium (70) durometer.
Curing: 750 Series inks will cure at a temperatures between 320-350F (160-177C).
Caution: Curing times will increase greatly due to the thickness of the ink film. The entire thickness of ink must reach said temperature to achieve a full cure. The cured print should resist cracking. If the print is under cured poor washablity will result. Tests for product compatibility should always be conducted prior to production runs.
Clean up: TR Blend or 2000 Green
